Application Instructions & Information

• All applications must be submitted to the BACF office no later than April 1.
• All applicants must fill out just one common application form, regardless of the number of scholarships for which you are applying.
• If an essay is required by the scholarship for which you are applying, you can copy and paste your essay from Microsoft Word into the box at the end of this applications.
• Please review the Scholarship Information to determine whether or not you are eligible.
• Please review the Scholarship Requirements for additional items needed to complete your scholarship application and ensure this information is included with your application.
• Inform the guidance counselor at your school that you require an official transcript to be sent directly to the Bucyrus Area Community Foundation.
• Required letters of recommendation should be mailed directly to the Bucyrus Area Community Foundation office. Please have the individual preparing your  recommendation indicate to which scholarship(s) the letter should be attached.
• Official transcripts and letters of recommendation may be mailed directly to the Bucyrus Area Community Foundation office or taken to your guidance counselor’s office, who will get all attachments to the BACF.

Remember that transcripts and letters of recommendation must be submitted separately to complete the application process.

If you are applying for the Dustin T. Stover Scholarship, you must submit your essay to complete the application process.

If you are applying for the Binau Scholarship, you must have one letter submitted from a person under whom you performed community service to complete the application process.
