The BACF currently offers six different scholarships for students who are currently students at one of these six Crawford County Schools or have graduated from said schools. The following is a brief description of the scholarships offered. Please click on the appropriate link for additional information and the application form.
BINAU SCHOLARSHIP: In memory of Kevin A. Binau, President & CEO of Ohio Mutual Insurance Company. Awarded to students graduating from any Crawford County High School, this scholarship will be not less than One Thousand Dollars ($1000) and will be based upon high academic achievement, a commitment to community service and exhibits high personal character.
BRUBAKER SCHOLARSHIP: In memory of John W. Brubaker, Bucyrus High School Chemistry teacher. Two Five Hundred Dollar ($500) are awarded to graduates of Bucyrus High School pursuing a degree in a science related area. This scholarship is paid directly to the students upon completion of their first semester of college.
HUGGINS AGRICULTURAL SCHOLARSHIP: In memory of James E. Huggins Sr. & Margaret M. Huggins. This scholarship is for students from any Crawford High School pursuing an advanced degree in any agricultural related field. This scholarship MAY be renewed for a second year. The scholarship amount varies from year to year.
NEFF FAMILY INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP: In Memory of Samuel Neff. This scholarship is intended for any Crawford County high school student, or graduate of any Crawford County high school, that is pursuing an educational experience outside the United State. Exchange programs set up by other organizations, like Rotary, or college semesters aboard are applicable for this award.
JOSEPH M. SALVATI SCHOLARSHIP: In memory of Joseph M. Salvati. Only graduates of Crestline High School will be considered for this award. The award amount will vary and there are no additional requirements.
DUSTIN T. STOVER SCHOLARSHIP: In memory of Dustin T. Stover. This scholarship is given to one graduating senior from both Colonel Crawford and Wynford High Schools going onto any type of higher education (i.e. college, university, beauty school, tech school, truck driving school, etc.). Currently the award will be for $400 each.
