Each of the scholarships available for Crawford County students has specific requirements for application and are listed below.
The Binau Scholarship
- Two letters of recommendation are required.
- One letter must be from a person under whom the applicant performed community service (outside of high-school activities).
The Brubaker Scholarship
- Two letters of recommendation are required.
The Huggins Agricultural Scholarship
- Two letters of recommendation are required.
The Neff Fellowship for International Study
- Two letters of recommendation are required.
- Include a description of the international experience, including what university/college is associated with the program, where you will be studying, etc.
- There are two deadlines for this scholarship. If the student is going overseas in the fall of a given year, the application should be into the foundation office no later than May 15 of that year; if in the winter/spring semester, no later than October 31 of the year prior to their travel.
Dustin T. Stover Memorial Scholarship
Please select one person you feel has been an inspiration in your life, then select one or more of the following questions/topics to be combined into one essay. No specific length is required. However, your essay will be judged on the depth of your thoughts and how you express them. The message of your essay is what will be judged.
- Describe qualities and values you have learned from the person you selected above and how these will help you succeed in life.
- How did the person inspire you? (Include any stories you wish to share, and explain what you want to do differently because of this person.)
- Describe a time the person, knowingly or unknowingly, did something to help you. Explain how this benefited you as a person.
- What areas of your life have or will you change because of this person? Explain how/why.
